Who We Are
Gary Miller started doing electric work, on weekends, when he was 12 years old, for his father who also was an electrical contractor. He later worked various jobs such as telephone lineman and salesman. He got back into working as a electrician for many years and in 1982 stated S&M Electric with a partner until 2004 when Darin Miller, his son, who had work for the company from the beginning, purchased 1/2 of the business from the partner. We are members of the Yavapai County Contractors Association. Gary is a past president of the Association. He worked on getting the County to adopt a building & safety inspection department and helped to start a State Contractors Association. In 1962 Gary married Donna Green and they have 4 Children, 14 Grand Children, and 7 Great-Grand Children. Donna works in our office as the Office Manager, CSR, and Dispatcher.

Darin Miller has been working as an Electrician since 1982, when his Dad and partner started S&M Electric, Inc. Darin married Rita Martinez in 1997, they have 2 daughters. In 2004, Darin bought out his Dad's partner and became partners with his Dad. Darin has been active in sports, playing on city league teams, softball, basketball, volleyball, and tennis, playing in numerous tournaments. Rita works in the company, as the Bookkeeper and Computer expert.
